Many people don't realize that
Healdsburg was badly damaged by the San Francisco earthquake of April,
1906. To recognize the 100th anniversary of this event, the
Photos of the Month for March & April have shown some of that
Healdsburg damage.
Writing on the rear of this photo
simply says "Gobbi Building after 1906 earthquake."
(The Gobbi Building is on the east
side of Center Street, between Matheson and Plaza Streets.)
