Photograph Number184-64A
The recent weather, with snow to be seen on
surrounding peaks, brought this photo to mind. It was taken of
the Swisher House (642 Johnson St.) on January 15, 1932, when 4 inches
of snow fell on Healdsburg. According to notes on another photo
taken the same day, it was the first time snow had fallen in
Healdsburg in 20 years. A notation on the rear of this photo
indicates that the snowman in the front yard was made by Riley
Swisher.
