The Museum is fortunate to have
the entire photo collection of Merv Silberstein, a Healdsburg
photographer from the early to mid-20th century. Mr. Silberstein
was a friend and schoolmate of Ralph Rose and Ed Beeson, both famous
Healdsburgers, as well an accomplished professional photographer in
his own right. This month our photo is from that collection.

This photo is of the Healdsburg High School AAI
Championship Team (presumably basketball, although the sport is
not identified) from the year 1908. The girls are, left to
right:
Kathleen Swisher, Una Williams, Bera Beeson, Audrey Walters,
Audrey Butler, Gertrude Fields and Grace Butler. |
