Pomo Feather Basket.
Attributed to Albert Arroyo of Lake County.
Dimensions: 3.25 inches in diameter.
Condition: Very good with a spot of glue on the rim.
Estimated Date of Origin: Recent.
Description: This small, coiled basket is covered with bird feathers that probably are peacock in green, yellow and white. There are abalone dangles and glass beads on fish line. The three-rod foundation is cane and the weft of the basket is sedge root.
