Description	Jacket; suit, matches #287-3, brown satin with brown bead rosettes, striped lining, 1870-1880; sleeves: 50 cm. long, shoulder to shoulder 32 cm., length 56 cm. Top of two piece dress. Curved seams going into to close fitting back . Center seam ends in pleated modified V shape which would flare over bustle. Sleeves are narrow and slit at wrists. Decorated with bronze glass beads (same as skirt). Shalloe V neck line. Front closess with 15 faceted buttons in bronze (2 missing). Boning in front and back. May have been lace at necklin that is now missing. Lined with cotton. Altered at one time. Some staining and fraying. Donated by the Mt. Rose Players.
