QUILT, :"Chimney Sweep" aka "Album Block"; several squares (brown with high iron content) have disentergrated; measures 196 cm x 168 cm.; dated 1880 to 1890. After researching on Anscestry .com (1880 census) it was discovered the names on this quilt came from Liberty, Missouri. It appears this quilt was a "Friendship Quilt" for someone leaving Liberty, Missouri sometime in the late 1880's. The following names are stitched on the quilt:
