Langhart Award Dinner
Annual Meeting
|
The Museum’s Annual Meeting for the
membership is held every January at the Villa Chanticleer. The
event is a pot luck dinner, and members are advised as to what to
bring through the Museum’s Newsletter. The Annual Meeting is the
venue for the election of the new officers and board members. It
is also a chance for the Historical Society President to report on
Museum activities for the past year, its fundraising efforts, and
the vision for the year. The Curator gives a report on the
activities that happened over the course of the past year in terms
of exhibits, collections, and education programs. The Research
Curator reports on the Research Library and Archives, and the many
things that have occurred. The Annual Meeting is a chance for
members to learn about the state of the Museum, and to hear how
the Museum has grown or changed over the course of the year, and
what plans are in store for the future.
