A temporary exhibit, commemorating the great earthquake of 1906, was opened on April 18. In addition to photos from Healdsburg, before and after the cataclysmic event, there was a soup line, reminiscent of what one might have experienced after the quake itself.
Thanks go to Ann Howard for coming up with this idea and following through to make it happen. Thanks also to all of the volunteers who helped Ann with the heavy lifting, as it were. Especially Ed Summerville, Lois Grace and Catherine Curtis.
