The Healdsburg Museum and Historical
Society is a non-profit organization that relies on fundraising
and membership dues to stay self-supporting. Membership is
important to the Museum for two reasons: one, it helps
financially; two, it helps the Museum in its mission to educate
people about the history of northern Sonoma County, by creating a
base of people to inform. The benefits of being a Museum member
include: a monthly Newsletter, that updates the membership
regularly on Museum activities; the quarterly publication the
Russian River Recorder, a scholarly journal that includes
historical articles on Healdsburg and northern Sonoma County; free
use of the Museum’s Research Library and Archives and admission to
the Barn Sale Preview Party.
