Historic Homes Walking Tours
(Click for photos and descriptions)
In the past, the Museum has held occasional walking tours
of highlights of local architecture and history of various old
homes in the vicinity of the Museum, as noted above. The
Museum would welcome a docent, knowledgeable in this area to lead
such tours in the future.
Museum Tours
The Museum is happy to offer guided tours. The Museum has a
group of trained docents that are capable of leading tours geared
towards people of all ages. Please call ahead to schedule your
group. Teachers are asked to bring adults along to help supervise
the children. All ages are encouraged. Our youngest tour group has
been pre-schoolers! Each tour is tailored to the specific age and
limitations of the participants. Tours can also vary in length,
depending on the desire of the group leader.
