The Healdsburg Museum offers a few
of its own publications. Newsletter – The Healdsburg
Museum and Historical Society Newsletter is put out once a
month. It details the day-to-day and month-to month happenings at
the Museum, as well as gives updates from the Curator, Research
Curator, President and various Committee Chairs. The Newsletter
is sent out to all Museum members. It is also available in
the Museum’s Gift Shop. Click here

Russian River Recorder – The Russian River Recorder
is a quarterly publication. There are Spring, Summer, Autumn and
Winter issues. The Recorder is a scholarly journal that
contains historical articles concerning Healdsburg and northern
Sonoma County. Each issue contains at least three essays or oral
histories, with related historical photographs. The Russian
River Recorder is sent to all members. It is also available for
sale in the Museum’s Gift Shop for $2.50.

Historic Homes of Healdsburg – Historic Homes of
Healdsburg is a self-guided architectural and historic tour of
homes, businesses and churches. It was an outgrowth of research on
nearly 1500 local properties during the course of the Healdsburg
Cultural Resource Survey done in 1983. About 450 properties were
included in the completed survey report. 70 properties were
selected for the Historic Homes booklet, chosen for their
architectural and historical significance, as well as their
condition and location. There is a city map with marked property
locations in the center of the book. This book is sold in Museum’s
Gift Shop for $7.50, as well as Toyon Books and Levin and Co. bookstores in
downtown Healdsburg.
Images of Healdsburg - A photo
history of the first 100 years of Healdsburg and surrounding
environs. The price of this treasure is $19.95 plus tax. It
is available in the Gift Shop.

A History of Healdsburg, As Reviewed Through
Articles in the Russian River Recorder - This book
paints a broad spectrum highlighting the various phases that make
up what Healdsburg really is. It consists of carefully
chosen articles published over a 23 year (1977 to 2000) span.
There are over 160 pages, illustrated with many photographs from
the Museum's archives. It is available in the Gift Shop for
$20.00, tax included.
