The Healdsburg Museum has many reference items pertaining to
Healdsburg and Sonoma County. The public has access to all
materials, subject to the Healdsburg Museum’s research Policy and
Procedures. Please call to make an appointment to access the
Library. Research materials include:
Sonoma County history books (1880, 1889, 1891, 1911, 1926, 1937);
Healdsburg Cultural Resources Survey, 1983 (identifies and records
pre-1941 structures, objects and sites; covers what is considered
to be the "Healdsburg community"); business directories; telephone
directories; Healdsburg high School Yearbooks (the Sotoyoman)
1905-1954, broken to 1964;indexes to Sonoma County records (birth,
death, marriage, cemetery) published by the Sonoma County
Genealogical Society; maps, including those of Healdsburg and the
surrounding area, Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps, Sonoma County maps;
Warm Springs Dam studies and information; miscellaneous reference
books, family and subject ephemera files, albums, some local
business and organization records, etc. |
