The Museum Research Library is a popular destination for those visitors interested in investigating the history of the area. The documentary collection includes local newspapers from 1865 to 1982 (indexed to 1930), alphabetized census records, archives of the City of Healdsburg and family genealogy files. A nominal fee is charged for the use of the research library and public access is available by appointment Thursday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
