Farm Town Forever: Dairy Farms & 4-H, FFA and HFFCF Traditions

Growing up in Healdsburg has often meant growing up with agriculture, and that tradition continues today.

Elizabeth Bucher, who grew up on a dairy farm on Westside Road, will tell the story of how her immigrant family established the farm and of the changes in the dairy industry in Sonoma County over the years. Lillie Deas will give a hometown girl’s view of what it means to grow up in a town that values agricultural education and culture, with 4-H and FFA clubs and the annual Future Farmers Country Fair.
